This is a reminder that the Ohio minimum wage will increase from $7.40 per hour to $7.70 per hour effective January 1, 2012. Ohio’s minimum wage for tipped employees will increase from $3.70 per hour to $3.85 per hour. Ohio employers with annual gross receipts of $283,000 or more must pay the Ohio minimum wage. Ohio employers with annual gross receipts lower than this amount are subject to the federal minimum wage ($7.25 per hour.)
